Volkswagen Infotainment GmbH develops tomorrow's mobility solutions as a component of the Volkswagen Group, under the CARIAD-umbrella. It was founded in August 2014 after the aqcuisition of BlackBerry's European R&D site in Bochum. The company's main site is located at Rensingstraße in Bochum. It also maintains another site in the center of Bochum and one in Wolfsburg.
